Ismail read for his Bachelors (LL.B Hon., 2009) and Masters (Comparative Law, 2013) at the International Islamic University. After his undergraduate studies Ismail commenced his work life as a Legal Assistant at the High Court. From 2011 he had worked a prosecutor at the Prosecutor General’s Office for three years, before being appointed as a Member of the Employment Tribunal of Maldives in October 2014, by the President of Maldives. He later went on to become the Vice President of the Employment Tribunal in July 2016. Ismail resigned in November 2017 to join us in private practice. His areas of expertise involves corporate law, labor law, criminal defense and civil litigation.
